AI-assisted development can move quickly enough to outrun its own controls. Scope blurs, acceptance criteria drift, context gets scattered, and the operator ends up trusting a stream of activity instead of a clear delivery record. AmphionAgent removes that friction by putting Micro-Contract Development directly into the workspace: evaluate the work, contract it, execute the approved scope, and close it out with evidence. MCD breaks software work into small, bounded contracts. Each contract has clear scope and explicit acceptance criteria, so done is provable, not asserted. AmphionAgent turns that method into a working development environment: governed docs, slash-command phases, local Command Deck state, visible phase gates, and closeout evidence. The plugin scaffolds complete MCD workspaces, governance docs, command references, and agent workflow artifacts. It supports the explicit phase flow: /evaluate, /contract, /execute, and /closeout. Each phase is operator-gated, so the work halts until the next step is authorized. MCD is not a theory.
