These terms cover your use of activetwist.com. Our book and project sites are separate and carry their own terms. Questions go to legal@activetwist.com.

Using the site

You are welcome to read the site, take our assessments, and write to us. In return we ask that you do not attempt to disrupt the service, gain access you have not been given, or use automated means to extract our content at scale.

Our assessments

The site and its assessments are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representation that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Our assessments are surface-level instruments intended to generate a question rather than answer one. They are not professional advice, not a diagnosis, and no decision should rest on their output alone.

Our assessments are provided for individual use. You may not administer them within your organisation, distribute them to colleagues or clients, or incorporate them into your own programmes or services without a licensing agreement.

Our frameworks

You may quote from our frameworks — BRIDGES, INSPIRE, CLIMB and Micro-Contract Development — with attribution to Active Twist Consulting Group, LLC. Attribution is required.

You may not build derivative frameworks from them, use them as the basis of training or curriculum, or reproduce them commercially, without explicit written permission and a licensing agreement.

JSONM is open source under the Apache 2.0 licence. That licence grants no permission to use our trade names or marks beyond describing where the work came from.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Active Twist Consulting Group, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of this site, and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant service or one hundred dollars (USD $100).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in St. Charles County, Missouri, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

What we collect and what we do with it is set out in our privacy policy.

Effective date: on publication to activetwist.com. These terms take effect when the site goes live at its public address; until then they are published here for review.
